Vision Systems & Motion Controls
iFuture Systems develops motion controls and Data Acquisition systems on National Instruments CRIO/LABVIEW platform for Engine Gauging Stations on the Assembly Lines. End Customer - Mahindra and Mahindra LTD.
Based on the measurement using LVDT probes, a shim is selected by the operator and assembled with the engine. The accuracy of measurement is 5 Micrometer.
The stations consist of:

iFuture Systems developed motion controls for 120 Digital Input/Output and 50 Analog Input Controls. The motion control elements consist of pneumatic cylinders, Hydraulic Cylinders, sensors, tower Lamps, read switches and HMI. The analog controls comprise of LVDT pencil probes and Signal Conditioners.
Other Hardware accessories like Barcode scanners and printers were integrated to the automated line. The entire line was networked and connected to a single MES system. Real time data was transmitted to this system to show the status of each station.
The system has LH and RH cycles which are pre defined programs built into each machine to make life easy for the operators.
